Horam Manor Farm is a cluster of traditional barns and cartlodges in the setting of an unspoilt area of Sussex countryside. Once a site of the Wealden iron industry, the Farm now offers a wide range of different habitats, including open grassland, meadows, ancient woodlands, streams and Tudor hammer ponds. A campaign was started after lighthouse owner Trinity House announced that it could no longer afford to repaint the distinctive red and white stripes and that it would have to be left to return to its natural granite grey. Trinity House stated that because boats now have high tech navigational systems the day marker stripes are no longer essential. We will be working closely with Trinity House.
